3. Frozen Yogurt and Ice Cream
If you’re a frozen yogurt fiend or ice cream addict, then you’ve got some bad news coming. You’re not going to be able to eat those foods anymore. You can replace them with healthier alternatives, though. Plain yogurt was shown in one study to be good for people with diabetes. Why not add some delicious fruits or toppings to your plain yogurt and have a healthier snack?
There’s no sense in feeding your frozen yogurt or ice cream addiction if it’s going to wreak havoc on your blood sugar and life later on down the road. You’re just going to have to replace them with something else. Fruit-flavored yogurt and frozen yogurt can have just as much sugar as ice cream, and it’s not actually much healthier. You’re going to have to start getting creative and switch them out with other options.
