2. Nervousness, Unsteadiness, and Weakness
If you feel generally unsteady, uneasy, nervous, and weak, you could have blood sugar. If you’ve been sitting for hours on end at a computer desk working on some big work assignment, and you haven’t eaten in hours, and you suddenly feel sick to your stomach and weak, then you might have low blood sugar. This is often seen in workaholics who chug down a lot of caffeinated drinks without breakfast or lunch, and then just keep powering through their workload.
That is extremely unhealthy, and it can lead to blood sugar spikes and crashes. You want to be eating a balanced diet with low glycemic index foods throughout the day. That is one way to ensure you don’t have peaks and valleys in your blood sugar. If you do feel nervous or weak, sit down, lay down, and have orange juice or a candy bar.
There is nothing worse than fainting at work and embarrassing yourself in front of everyone. Rumors might start to spread that you have a serious disease, or you could injure yourself if you hate your elbow, shoulder, or head on something as you’re falling.
