4. Blurry Vision
When it comes to blurry vision, there are a number of different things that may cause this symptom to occur. A person who has developed hyperglycemia may notice that their vision becomes blurry when there is a spike in their blood glucose levels.
When the amount of glucose in the blood rises, it can cause the lens of your eye to become swollen. When this happens it results in your vision becoming blurry. In some cases, a person may be unable to see at all for a bit. With diabetes, it is important to be concerned about your eyes.
Retinopathy is one of the complications of diabetes. This occurs when the retina is forced to try to find different ways to get the blood that it needs. It does this by attempting to create new blood vessels. The problem is this may result in more problems with the eyes because of blockages.
