There have been studies that show that eating avocados can lower the risk of developing metabolic syndrome. This is a set of risk factors that may increase the risk of developing diabetes. There are many different ways to eat avocados as they are a versatile fruit. You can eat them plain with a few seasonings added or you can use them to make dips and even in desserts.
